Join us at the Woodlands Auditorium for one of the HSV Players’ funniest productions, Grumpy Old Men – the Musical is a hilarious and heartwarming story about two aging neighbors, Max and John, who have spent most of their lives feuding. When a beautiful, eccentric, and charming woman named Ariel moves in across the street, both men compete for her attention and their rivalry grows into a full-blown comedic battle of wills. Based on the 1993 film starring Jack Lemmon, Walter Matthau, and Ann-Margret, this stage adaptation captures the lovably crotchety characters through twinkling humor, catchy songs, set in a small town that feels like home to everyone. The book is by Dan Remmes, music by Neil Berg and lyrics by Nick Meglin.

Middle-aged and married, overworked and overweight, Barney Cashman wants to join the sexual revolution before it's too late and arranges three seductions: the first, Elaine Navazio proves to be a foul-mouthed bundle of neuroses; Bobbi Michele is next, a 20-ish actress who's too kooky by half; finally comes September and Jeanette Fisher, a gloomy, depressed housewife who happens to be married to Barney's best friend.

Hot Springs Village – May 1, 2, and 3rd at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church
Imagine STEEL MAGNOLIAS with modern day issues, as six women gather for a much-needed girls’ night out. The plan is to eat, drink and create works of art at a local Paint and Sip night studio while celebrating a bride to be. But as the alcohol flows, so do their thoughts on motherhood and womanhood, and their carefully curated lives get hilariously and heartbreakingly real. PAINT NIGHT is about the powerful way women support each other in an unpredictable world and what happens when we put down our cellphones, truly connect, and paint outside the lines of our comfort zone.

Hot Springs Village – November 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th at the Woodlands Theater
Ugly looks quite a bit different from his darling duckling brothers and sisters. The other animals on the farm are quick to notice and point this out, despite his mother's protective flapping. Feeling rather foul about himself, the little fowl finds himself on an adventure of self-discovery, all the while unknowingly outwitting a very hungry Cat. Along the way, Ugly meets a whole flock of unique characters and finds out that being different is not a bad thing to be.
